What are the characteristics of vacuum packaging bags?
According to the number of layers of plastic film, plastic vacuum bags can be divided into two categories: single film and composite film vacuum bags. They can be divided into one layer, two layers, three layers, four layers, or even more than 10 layers. Vacuum bags are widely used in transportation packaging and sales packaging. So how should we choose plastic vacuum bags? Today we will recommend the key points for selecting packaging bags.
1. Puncture resistance of plastic bags after vacuuming. Whether it is shipping packaging or sales packaging, one of the important functions of packaging bags is to protect food. If most of them are punctured, there will be no protection. Therefore, we need to understand whether our products have sharp and hard substances and what level the puncture can reach. The common method is to ask the packaging manufacturer to provide samples, conduct the vacuum packaging test yourself, and then throw, throw, press, etc., and then see if there is any bag breakage.
2. In what environment are vacuum bags used? Including the processing environment, storage environment, and transportation environment, different environments require the selection of different plastic films and printing processes. For example, after vacuum packaging, ready-to-eat braised duck feet are sterilized by high temperature and boiled, and the material requirements for the packaging bags are different. High-temperature sterilization requires the plastic film to be resistant to high temperatures above 121°C, and boiling sterilization requires the plastic film to be resistant to high temperatures of 100°C, be insoluble in water under high-temperature environments, and have strong water resistance.
3. Maintain other needs for food. Vacuum bags are used for food to extend the shelf life and better preserve its color, aroma and taste. In addition to the need to be puncture resistant, there are many other functional requirements. For example, salt-baked chicken legs and salt-baked chicken wings will contain oil and produce aromatic molecules. Plastic bags must be oil-resistant and aroma-preserving.
